Ogre Island Rules

Ogre Island is not just a game, but an Online Gaming Community. People of all ages are playing Ogre Island. Below are the rules of conduct for the game.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OGRE ISLAND STAFF MEMBERS & MODERATORS WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR PASSWORD OR ANY OTHER ACCOUNT INFORMATION. NEVER GIVE YOUR PASSWORD TO ANYONE.

1. Have fun! alright, its an odd rule, but we built the game so we make the rules. If your not having fun with OI, please take a break and try a nice game of chess. Idealy, everyone is making the game a little bit funner for everyone else.

2. No griefing other players. This game was created by players, and the golden OI rule is have fun! Anyone attempting to cause others grief (not fun), will be removed from the community.
Things that fall into this category: scamming, profanity, rudeness, impersonating, stalking. These are not all the things that fall under this rule, just examples.

3. No cheating. Macroing, cheat programs, exploting bugs, etc. If you need a complex explanation of cheating, then perhaps another game? There is very little reason to cheat in this game, as most of the fun comes from leveling up the right way :)

Please do not advertise other games or websites.

One account per player!

Try to stay on topic in chat rooms. If you do start an interesting off-topic discussion, take it to a private room.

Respect other players. Ask nicely. Be receptive to requests from other players on things that are commonly annoying to everyone (see rule #1).
